Fisherkayak electric motor 55 Pounds
Exclusive design electric motors.
Powerful, silent and highly reliable, since all the electrical parts inside are isolated.
The motor shaft bar is made of fiberglass, with which we can equally use the motor in fresh water than in sea water.
The clamp is made of high resistance ABS plastic.
Led battery charge indicator on the head.
All models have an extensible and highly comfortable handle.
NOTICE: The indicated speed is approximate. Said speed can vary depending on many factors, such as the size of the boat, the wind, etc...
This speed has been calculated with a model boat of 2.3m and 90 kg in calm water conditions and no wind.
It is recommended to wash it with fresh water after use in salt water and dry it properly for greater durability in perfect condition.
HOW TO CALCULATE THE BATTERY FOR YOUR ENGINE
1 It is recommended to use deep cycle batteries, if possible AGM technology.
2 - Calculate the amps your motor consumes:
3 - Calculate the Amps per hour and select the battery based on the number of continuous hours you want autonomy.
Required battery (consumption in Amps)x(% of power)x(hours of operation)x1.3
For example, we will use the previous motor at 75% power and we want to use it for about 3 hours: 55A x 0.75 x 3h x 1.3 = 160.88Ah
Example:
1 100Ah battery (C20h): Needs a 12V charger with an output and capacity for 100Ah
2 batteries of 132Ah (C20h) each and connected in parallel: They need a 12V charger with two outputs and a capacity of 260Ah.
3 batteries of 86Ah (C20h) each and connected in series: You can use a 12V charger with two outputs and 172 Ah or a 24V charger with one output or more of 182Ah
